Our Space

Island Coffee House and Books is located on 2nd Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Langley on South Whidbey Island. Our shop is located in an old home with a large and welcoming front yard and side patio. Inside you will find a great selection of gently-used books and a full service espresso bar complete with cookies and other baked goods.

The property is owned by Susan Hagen whose husband operated an optometry business out of the house in the 1960s. Susan and her son David have been extremely supportive of the vision for Island Coffeehouse and Books and we are grateful for their ongoing support and their belief in our programs.

Our space is available for rent by individuals or groups to offer programs, classes, author readings or other events. The space is available for rent in the evening hours (after 6:00 p.m.). The rental fee is $20.00. For more information on renting our space, please contact our manager, Shauna Davies, at manager@islandcoffeehouseandbooks.org or at 360-221-2414. You can also download the form here.
